Why we do not charge per person

Construction software charges per person, so contractors ration logins. The foreman does not get one. The site engineer shares one. The estimator's baselines never reach the PM who needs them, and the project's record ends up thin in exactly the places a claim later depends on.

That is backwards. The record gets stronger the more people touch it.

So everyone on the job works in it: PM, site engineers, foremen, contract admin, your external QS, the director who wants a number on Friday. The price does not move when you add people.

Capacity, not features

Nothing is locked behind a higher plan

Starter is the whole product on one job. Not a trial of it, not a cut-down version of it. Variations, claims, contract clocks, procurement, quote comparison, document control, the evidence record, all of it.

You will never find a capability on this page that is locked behind a higher plan. What changes as you move up is how much construction the system carries: how many projects run at once, how many drawings it reads, how much work it does for you each month.

We think feature gating is a confession. If a thing is good enough to build, it is good enough to give the builder paying you.

The anchor

What this is actually worth

Start with one variation. A builder running a A$2m job turns over roughly A$38,000 a week. At A$5m it is closer to A$96,000. Against numbers like that, the monthly fee is not the decision. The decision is what is already walking off the job.

One unpriced variation is worth more than a decade of Starter. One time-barred extension of time can be worth more than the whole platform will ever cost you. That is the comparison that matters, and it is the one we are built around.

Then the hours. At A$80 an hour loaded, Starter pays for itself if it saves under three hours a week. The Housing Industry Association found that 53% of builders already spend five hours a week on regulatory paperwork alone, before a single variation or claim.

And the hire you are not making. A construction administrator costs A$75,000 to A$90,000 a year before on-costs. Loaded, half of one is roughly A$4,000 a month. Starter is a quarter of that.

If you are running an operation. A mid-size project, staffed conventionally, carries a project manager, a project engineer, a site engineer and a document controller full time, plus safety, quality, accounts and environmental part time. That is 5.6 full-time equivalents, about A$65,500 a month at Australian rates with on-costs.

Operator is A$3,990. Six per cent of that, across every project you run.

It does not replace the people. It replaces the hours they spend registering documents, chasing revisions, assembling claim packs, writing daily reports, tracking hold points, and hunting for the email where the superintendent changed the detail.

Three months, minimum

There is no free trial

You sign up, you pay, and the plan runs for at least three months.

That is not a lock-in tactic. It is how long the product takes to be worth anything. The first month is load-in. Drawings go in, the contract gets read, the registers get built. The second month is when the record starts answering questions. By the third you have been through a claim cycle, and that is the first month you can actually judge us on.

A fortnight of poking at an empty project would tell you nothing, and we would rather not sell you that.

After three months, cancel whenever you like.

The obvious question

Why not just use ChatGPT

You can paste a contract into a chat window and get a decent reading of it. That is genuinely useful and it costs about thirty dollars a month.

What it does not do is hold your project's record, run the clock on your reference dates, or stand behind what went to the superintendent. A chat window answers a question. This holds a record and counts a deadline.

The other question

Why not a conventional platform

Conventional construction platforms charge you to give your team software, and you still need every person on the team to operate it.

We charge you to give your team capacity. That is a different thing to buy, and it is why comparing the two by monthly price misses what you are actually deciding.

If it does not work

You are not stuck with it

Three months in, if you do not think it was worth it, we refund what you paid, less what your project actually cost us to run. Document processing, AI processing, storage, and the card fees our payment provider keeps. At cost, with no mark-up, and no charge for anyone's time.

You get the logs. Every line is itemised and evidenced, and you can query it before we pay. If your project cost us $300 to process, you see the $300 and the rest comes back.

This is not a usage charge. You are never billed for processing while you are a customer. It only ever comes off a refund.

Everyone pays the same price on this page. There is no introductory rate that doubles on you later.

Design partners

The founding ten

The first ten contractors get things that are not a discount, because a discount would only tell you we were unsure.

Implementation and onboarding included. A direct line to the person who built it, not a support queue. And your complaints set what gets built next, which is not a figure of speech: the most common objection each week decides the following week's work.

In exchange: twenty minutes on the phone each week for the first month, permission to publish what the product recovered on your job, and a reference call once it has earned one. If it never earns one, that obligation lapses and you owe us nothing.

Ask about a founding place

Plainly

Not on this page

There is no free tier and no free trial. There is no per-seat option. There is no feature locked behind a plan. There is no enterprise deal quoted in private and kept off this page, other than Enterprise itself, which is a scope conversation and not a discount one.

If a project needs something this page does not cover, the answer is a conversation about the project, not a different price list.
